In a February 2011 Longboat Key condominium update, there were over 400 Longboat Key condos for sale listed in the Sarasota MLS. Currently the inventory of condos for sale on Longboat Key including villas and town houses is 322 and prices now range from $94,987 for a one bedroom, one bath condo at Windway Bay to $5,000,000 for a new construction at Bleu Claire. The lowest priced condo in February 2011 was $70,000.  There are 52 condos under contract on Longboat Key and 174 condos have sold in the last six months. Longboat Key Condos at the Shore

The Shore condominiums on the north end of Longboat Key are one of the few condos on Longboat Key that allow owners to have a large pet.  This community is right on Longboat Key Beach, and its residents enjoy the ambiance of a smaller community with only 53 residences and very nice amenities.  The tropical grounds are well-maintained, and these Longboat Key condos can be leased a minimum of 2 months, 2 times per year.

Amenities at the Shore

The Gulf front community of the Shore was built in the 1970s and offers an array of amenities including a social room with a "big screen" TV, banquet tables, and ping pong.  There is also a library with a nice selections of books.  The heated swimming pool at the Shore is beach and Gulf front.

Sales Activity at the Shore on Longboat Key

Currently the Sarasota MLS reports only 2 condos for sale at the Shore.  List prices are $550,000 and $650,000 for the 2 bedrooms condos.  In the last six months, there have been 3 sales at the Shore.  Sales prices ranged from $345,000 to $637,500.  The last condominium sold at the Shore was by Judi Kerzner of Allen Real Estate Services, Inc.  Congratulations Judi!
